About to air on the Outdoor Channel is an episode of “Fly Rod Chronicles” which is quite special to Curtis Fleming.

Running Jan. 29-31 is a show featuring the boys of Chestnut Mountain Ranch of Morgantown. Back in October, the residents of the Christ-centered home and school were surprised with a visit by Fleming and his FRC crew. In its third year of operation, the facility – located on 225 acres of rural Monongalia County countryside - houses, educates and provides quality outdoor recreation to young boys in need of hope and healing...

Business, it’s been said, gets done on the golf course. Especially show business.

Curtis Fleming hooked up with several of his big-name guests for this season’s “Fly Rod Chronicles” at the PGA Tour’s Greenbrier Classic in Lewisburg, W.Va. Lining up his back casts, along with some good fortune, is how Fleming came to fish with the likes of Jerry West and Sir Nick Faldo.

The Fly Rod Chronicles at the Harman’s North Fork Invitational 2013

The Fly Rod Chronicles is a program I have been enjoying on the Outdoor Channel for a number of years. Curtis Fleming and crew travel the country sharing their fly fishing pursuits like no others. In early May of 2013 the show made it's way back home to West Virginia for the Harman's North Fork Invitational 2013. Before leaving I asked the guys to just have fun and do their best. I felt like I was sending my kids off to college and almost digressed into warning them about not getting into any trouble...

If he caught the biggest fish during their August outing, she would don fly fishing clothes for her first day back at class at West Virginia University...
