World Renown Artist, Michael Simon poses with his new 6wt Curtis Fleming FRC TFO Fly Rod on the banks of the Rose River with Host Curtis Fleming and Owner of RRF, Douglas Dear. Michael has used bamboo for many years now, but we converted him to the other side for a day of filming on Fly Rod Chronicles. For three decades Michael's artistry has appeared in National Magazines, including Fly Rod & Reel, Fly Fisherman and Virginia Wildlife. Michael also ilustrated the fly fishing classic "Trout Bum" for author John Gierach, lithographs for Trout Unlimited and Federation of Flyfishers as well as the Virginia and North Carolina commemorative Brook Trout License Plates

Koby landed this strong-fighting Rainbow (along with many others) down at the Rose River Farm www.roseriverfarm.com on an early cold January day on his 6wt TFO Curtis Fleming FRC Fly Rod. The air temp was down in the lower 20's, but thanks to our Under Armour sponsor for making it possible for everyone to stay warm on the water all day and enjoy the cold blistery day. Nice Fish, Koby!

I fished Bayou St. John in down town New Orleans before our New Orleans Fly Fishers club meeting today. I caught this nice 9" Rio Grande on my New Curtis Fleming "Fly Rod Chronicles" TFO rod. If you like a moderate action rod that loads up perfectly and casts like a dream... this is the guy for you... LOVE IT! I'm headed to Mountain Home, AR Wednesday for the Southern Conclave; I plan to do a complete Product Review on this rod when I return.
